I liked the old search engine alot better, I don't like how the listings are reflecting the amazon style! I don't wanna see a stock photo of my item, i want the seller to post a picture of the actual item damnit! Some things don't even seam to come up on the searches, things that i KNOW are currently listed. UGH :x

I'm on e-bay Canada, and if the sellers listing is not worldwide shipping those items will not show to me in the search even if the seller says they will ship out of country. So you have to go to the e-bay site of the country the seller is in for their items to show.

When I go to ebay USA to search, it says please log in to improve your search results. So that also would make a difference being logged in.

I still remember when ebay bought the 2nd biggest auction site here in sweden for almost 10 years ago. They linked it togheter with their "great" system and the site died within a month. Leaving the other sweden auction site with double amount of users.

They later ended up buying the other auction site aswell, but this time they didnt linked it with ebay =)

I think what started that was people bidding on items from a country a seller wouldn't ship too, and then the seller having to cancel the transaction. So it only shows you items that ship to your country. You have to search e-bay USA, ebay UK, ebay Germany etc. to see the search items missing.

Then you got another yet roadblock :x If you ask those ones (not shipping to your country) and the seller says they will ship to you (from the UK or Germany for example) when you try and bid 90% of the time I get a message "this item cannot be shipped to your country, please contact the seller to have them add you to their bidder permit list"

Once they add you to their list it will let you bid.

Just type in on Google and its bound to bring up (as it does for me) some rare oversea sales that I can't find though Ebay-UK even under international.
