picked this set up recently, a 1990 PIONEER VSX-3600 A/V receiver, 100w per stereo channel, .005% THD and all that goodness,
and a pair of 3-way RADIO SHACK OPTIMUS bookshelves for the princely sum of $15.
positively blows away the ALTEC LANSING PC speaker sub-sat system i was using before.
in the future, i think i might wish to upgrade the receiver to a TOTL PIONEER VSX-9500S, 9900S or 95,
but the speakers are fabulous sounding for their intended purpose, and definite keepers...
