I lived the second movie and I think I am in it somewhere. I was always at Gazaries on the strip in the 80s and this movie was filmed for the most part there. It is really cool and is about heavy metal in the 80s. So, here I was looking to see if it was on laserdisc as the first movie is which is very good as well. It covers the punk years. On that note, I noticed there is a 3rd movie and omg, it is only on vhs and will set you back over 150 dollars. That is pure crazyness. Unfortunately for me, I am not about to drop 150 on a vhs tape so I will have to wait for it to eventually come out on tv.

I remember ordering the 2nd one, "The Metal Years" on PPV way back when. I don't remember much about it other than the segments with that one guy from WASP made him seem like a drunken idiot.

the first movie is cool, the second one covers too much hair metal which i dont really like and the third one is really deppressing. They should start making more of those, make a decline of western civilization with thrash and death metal! Or maybe a black metal movie!
