I have an adapter or cable so I don't need to buy one which I will find this weekend and try it out on both TVs next week. The DVI white port and the one next to it are directly linked to a Kuro which I don't have. I'm assuming the other port sends data or something as the DVI would send audio. Trying one port without the other one with A Kuro might not work but I'll try when I have the time. like https://www.ebay.fr/itm/401483006945

True, but I had my old PC hooked up to my TV via DVI to HDMI adapter and it could still carry the audio signal, so it really depends on the source.
