Think most people that listen to harder rock in the 70s know what this title is. That it was released with a very stupid cover to gain attention. But who would have thought that 30 years later 2 grown up men would file a report to the police that a dealer was selling the original record in Sweden ?
Its not fun for someone who think all violence against children are the worst you can ever imagine. To get reported as potentially violating child pornography laws in Sweden. Worst part is that if someone that hasn't a clue what this is get it on his table, I wouldn't be surprised if I get a fine and warning.
So 2 men thought it would be funny to report me instead of just telling me they don't think its ok, please remove it. They file a report and wasting 6 police officers time for 2 hours. For a album cover that are know 30 years old. And also a historical document on what people could do in the 70s. And its not like its anything against anyone's will. Even the girl on the photo today has no problem with the picture. It is a art document. And the title Virgin Killer, and the song is about time is killing the innocence out of everyone. If the women on there would say she doesn't like it and regret it today, then it would be something else. But the ones that buy this, we don't see a pornographic picture. And that's the point when it comes to deciding if its against the law. Is the purpose to satisfy sick people that are turned on by naked children or is it something else ?
I hope they will understand this, I might have to take a lawyer to this if so, they should not fine me when even FBI and UK internet watch organization failed to remove it from wikipedia.
What are your opinion, should we burn all these covers ? or should it be considered an historical picture made for art and remembered for what was possible to do back then. Today this picture would been refused in the printing room, you would not been able to print or sell it anywhere.
