I should be able to do some slow workout on the excise-bike to burn off the calories and fat, which is going to take at least a year or more to lose 20ilbs or maybe it would less? I'd find out when weighing myself each day week and month. Stay healthy guys. You take care, stay chilled & try your very best not to worry too much. Best regards, John Cheers, je280 Stress of minor things that aren't even remotely trivial seem to bother me and I should just say, sod it. I'm going to relax. When I sleep I'm switched off after an hour I go into REM sleep and there can be 105db level of dts laserdisc playing and I'm going to notice it. Well check up on Wednesday at the hospital and I'll give them all the details and more on what I have noticed different with and what I'm still feeling that does curse some little concerns as I can't ignore little twinging discomforts.

Yes this must play on your mind but don't let your spirit sag. It is so easy for people to say stay chilled & all the other "best advice" but..... stay chilled bud. Give your body (& yourself) the time to recover, you will get there. In the meantime all the best . John

Had a check up at the hospital yesterday and discussed about. Diet Work-out at the rehab that starts with a pre-assessment next week and then a few weeks later start the rehab course that runs 7 weeks of getting on the treadmill and getting pounds, stones, kg, off with a approx 1/2 stone loss so to get bit more off, not over do it to be thin a match mind you, I have seem a graph that shows weight and height size and I'm just a small bit into the overweight so I need to aim for the target and I'd have to play it by ear for now, see how it progresses and listen to my body for when it says "please back down a bit" so ball is ready to roll. Other discussion on the small twinge pains that I keep feeling and I find distressing. I was told its normal and not to worry but I'm not going ignore it, but its not like extremely painful nothing like that. Medication some of it makes me feel faint or light-headed and dizzy at times that I worry I might stumble or and take a fall so I'd be switching one type of medication around later today from day to nighttime so when I go to bed and wake up and move about I hope or guess I won;t get side-effects? The stent seems to have worked out well. I woke up too early. I went to bed at 11pm and my Sooty, wakes me up at 3:45am so I can't get back to sleep, I'm mellow relaxed that is okay and might get a cat nap or two to bu prefer 8hrs rest, I had plenty 8hrs and 11hrs rest in last few weeks on and off. Sooty seems to have no troubles getting 9 or so hrs rest.

Good news then....great stuff!!! With your attitude it will not be too long till you are more like your old self (old in the most respectful way!!!). Firehorse_44's cat comments are so true - we have a "Sooty" that visits us, jet black & has a lovely nature. Stays for a few hours, sometimes a few days. Don't know what it is but she does bring a relaxed tone when she is around. Sitting watching the afternoon news she often curls up beside me & dozes off, before I know it I am having a "cat-nap" myself & that does not happen unless she is around. I always feel the better for it when I wake, cats have got it sussed. Don't let the silly things (if you know what I mean) get to you, stay as chilled as you can & take everything easy as you can. All the very best .

Do try to sleep as uninterrupted as possible Andy. Hard to do with a nocturnal pet but all the same do your best sir. And even with good sleep periods, naps really add to vitality so nap if your able.... imitate Sooty ! ! ! Cats have the sleep thing all figured out man ! ! ! Nothing like a cat nap !
Very encouraged about your seriousness regarding your recovery.
Andy, you are a good example to others that don't take their health very seriously after a major life event. Keep up the diligence and stay the course...... I understand about those twinges of pain, but like the doc said, don't let them add to your stress buddy.( easier said then done right ! ? ! )
Keep taking care over there !
Keep the updates rolling ..... Well yesterday almost took a bit of me but I manged and coped with rather long walk down the road to get my next months medication. Normally would take me 15 minutes walking time but took about 23 minutes. About a total hour walking. I'll relax mellow for next few days don't want to push myself yet. I can dig in and help out and grab a table lift it up get it over my shoulder and take it up some stairs, but that was 20 years ago. Cheers firehose.

Good day Andy, I have been reading the updates on your gradual recovery sir, Although I do not post that often, I have been thinking of you. I second what je280 mentioned: Sooty on the tread mill would be a great view indeed LOL! Keep the recovery going Friend Kindest Regards

Hospital yesterday afternoon for pre-check tests on the tread-mill. All these bio-senors stuck on me again they hurt when peeling off. Tip of the day. Tissue and wet it with warm water helps them peel off easily. Blood pressure check before if I can recall? 60 over 100 when checked before the tread-mill. Checked while doing the tread-mill 70 over 100. From what I was told that was good. After about 2mins 45seconds I called quit! As I remember reading the heart manual, "Listen to your body". and I knew I was winded and out of breath and a bit disappointed but I'm still slowly recovering and thou I'm dieting better than I was previously a over a month ago. It will get better over the weeks. I start the rehab course early October for 2 days per week, for 7 weeks.

Cheers firehose. Just excised on the excise-bike slowly getting better at it. Started off pre-test after I assembled some 4 or 5 weeks for 2m.30s then called it quits as it was too early to do any type or excise. About early this week only managed 2.40 2.45 called it quits as I listened to my body and stopped. Tried a day later and managed 3.00 then called it a day. Tried some this morning and managed 4m.00s then called it quits. I can feel the warmth and I might only burned off a tiny bit of calories. Nothing as of yet appears to be showing so its going to take a 7 weeks on the course might get more fat off me. Plus excise in-between at home and I get plenty of walking excise getting off the bus and walking around the hospital that is kinder like a pre-warm-up. Sooty, he's being himself as usual. Licking and hairballs.

Done a bit more on the excise-bike 4 minutes seems to be limit for now and that's not all that a far distance. Ryvita bread, tastes nicer than bread wholemeal.

I am so pleased you appear to be moving forward - on the spot on the treadmill but you know what I mean!!! Would have posted sooner but had to dash away for a few days at short notice so this is the first time on here for a few days now. You do look so well in your "Steve Austin" picture..... stay smiling . Best regards.

Down at the hospital heart-club this afternoon. So this is the Stent, that saved my life and many more. Made of some combinations of materials and titanium. Well can't take pictures while excusing as I like to stay focused a bit ambitious when jogging on my toes in a circle around the large excise hall. I forget how many cycles around as there was also other combinations of random excising and it felt good. But the jogging I pushed a bit too far, and "time out" I quit after around 20 minutes felt dizzy my vision was not going out of focus it was like the blood pressure was pumping maybe far too much and glad I quit and laid down on the floor horizontally for 10 or so minutes while the girls got some water and the blood pressure unit to check me and I was fine, blood pressure was spot on, but why feeling dizzy? After 10 or so minutes I rolled over on my back lifted my legs up and pushed forwards to stand up. Well I'll keep the jogging maybe down to a few cycles and not over do it next time. I have mental attitude but I need to take this in small steps and build up slowly. But it was a good jog. I can do simple excise at home indoors that I did to day like push ups against the wall. "Hello wall how today". Got get some trainers or something like sock that has rubber grip as I might like to ware a combination of indoor footwear. Well I'm ready for next Friday. Got get physical https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWz9VN40nCA

Hi laserbite34, Hope you are "getting there" wherever that is..... just hope you are doing okay & making progress. Our little visitor Sooty II has popped in a & is giving me the hungry eyes look so time to see if I have anything in for her, after that it will go for a nap on the chair (the warm one beside the radiator) & a couple of hours later off out again to do whatever cats do in the fields behind our house - becoming an almost daily routine now. Take care & cheers for now .
