Guys as you know I "had" a Youtube channel where I would upload tv and movie logos, but I closed it, I was really busy on there, people demanding logos from certain programs of which I didn't have access to.
I was always in search for the infamous V of Doom whenever I could but most copies of this logo were on VHS.
Anyway, I was wondering if you've seen this logo on laserdisc?

I really just like the animation of it.
I believe at the end of the laserdisc copy of Sleuth there is this logo.
Just out of pure interest really.

I've not seen it but I'm curious as to why it's called the V of Doom? Were they notoriously bad transfers?

Also, I'm sad to see your youtube channel closed, you had a really good archive of logos on there. Hopefully it'll re-open some day.

I closed it because of demands demands demands all the time. I want to do things on my own accord.
The reason it was called the V of Doom was because it zoomed towards the TV at a fast past, had scary music and was a source for nightmares for many people during the early 80's. However I like it.
