It is all they had to work with and they stated as such. They do a wonderful job and really care about their DVD and BD releases but sometimes there is only so much they can do. I don't mean to be a full blown apologist here, it's just how it is.

Now sell me your LDs Rein-o you know you don't want them anymore you have DVDS!

After watching this garbage DVD I'll be keeping more than I though I would

Was telling my wife that I need to move stuff around to open the cases to figure out what I need to pull.

Have you tried getting an Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive? Those would probably work with a laptop thru USB.

360 HDDVD drives aren't cheap now, at least the ones I've seen on ebay anyway, and I've never seen many of them over here irl.

Better to get a BD writer drive that has HDDVD support and then use a cheap sata to usb adaptor. Both of those are much more useful.

I have the xbox drive but never used it. I was able to find the only 2x hd-dvd writer back in the day, forgot the model. It’s a laptop drive with ide. I bought an enclosure with usb. Afaik all other drivers are 1x write speeds. I also bought dozens of dual layer blanks. You can still find these cheap on yahoo japan.

I didn’t back up any of the hd dvd era burner software so i have nothing to burn or play on my computer.

One of the older Nero suites like 6,7,8 probably supports HD-DVD burning. You can probably get one of those off of Ebay for less than $20.

It's much better, although I only had crappy TAS PAL DVD previously. Also some bootleg NTSC DVD :shh:

ENT on BD is really good, back in the day I didn't like this series but it has grown on me now (Scott Bakula is still a tool though), unlike DS9 which I've always disliked (well, some eps are ok but the series in general sucks).

What's wrong with Bakula? I don't really follow personal info on actors.

DS9 is great though, wow the slander.

I'm sure I have been through this before elsewhere. I just don't like Bakula as a Star Trek captain, he's a dull actor and not cool like the Shat.

You know I don't like DS9 because of all the prophets rubbish and Avery Brooks is just terrible. I'm not being racist, his acting is just annoying...the way he does his lines in most episodes, the twitching of his hands later on.
Jake is annoying too, probably worse than Wesley Crusher.
Odo being an ok character that degenerates into wtf.
There's more but I can't be bothered atm.

I just can't enjoy the show properly because it's a mess.
As I said there are some good episodes but I'd much rather be watching Babylon 5.

I don't give a crap about Star Trek but don't talk trash about Scott Bakula, he's a legend.

Okay well I had never seen your opinion on Bakula before. Honestly I'm never watching Enterprise anyway.

I know I'm just giving you s**t on DS9. Agree that Babylon 5 is better but I like both.
