And thank you for the warm welcome! Image

That’s your response?

The village isn’t going to come burn you because, my monster, the world doesn’t revolve around you. Start another thread when you have figured that out and I’m sure the response will be nicer. Since you’ve only made one post and it makes you sound like a massive a** this is the response you’re going to get. Your second post, if there was to be one, should have been an apology. Since it wasn’t we’ll probably never like you. Not because we’re unforgiving but because you’re still the same a** that made the first post.

Impressive windmill burning loop....

Only thing missing is the LDDB members with pitch forks and torches storming the castle with a Priest leading the charge.

This imaging brings me back to my love of the Christpher Lee and Peter Cushing Hammer Genre.......
Gimme a windmill burning, violin background dirge, and peepz wielding torches/pitchforks and that warm fuzzy YOUNG Frankenstein feeling fills my heart chakra........
Truly priceless !

Keep up the good work laser_beam, better to ask forgiveness then ask for permission :wtf:

I will have some free-time during Christmas so I think I'll get some wanted covers to Julien. If anyone at this site have been lazy when it comes to doing needed work then it's certainly me. :)

The quality was not good enough and OP couldn't shoot with a better camera.

Case closed.

Waste of time, really.

Me too. I don’t have a ton of updates to do but for sure I have releases that are in the DB with incomplete information and I could have sent the info years ago. Hopefully on Xmas break I’ll finally do this.

Au Contraire Mon Capitan!

If you will notice, my "substandard" full-sized submission, when reduced for your database page display, actually looks just fine (here compared to another "accepted" cover):

It's certainly better than no picture at all ... except for substance (but he'll get over it). ;)

Either yes or no, it certainly was not a "waste of time". Rather it lit a fire under some good members here who can fill the void of missing pictures. I'd call that a win/win ... and I accept the well deserved gold medal presented to me for meritorious conduct (shown here in a selfie) :

You're welcome my adoring fan! I love the fanfare! :D ... uh, don't mind me while I verify the gold content ...

Make the top of the page 10 times in a row and you will get the Lddb golden plunger.
Keep up the good work and you may get a golden plunger yet.

My only issue is the max filesize/resolution.

I'm not saying I should be able to upload five megabyte cover scans at 4k resolution, but such as it is I feel like I have to compromise a little too much on the detail, especially when JPG compression wreak havoc on the colours.

Just be nice. we will get over it. This forum has seen some very interesting fellas over the years. We have come to good term with most of them but unfortunately we had to abort a few.

Just be aware that there is a good deal of forum members here who has financial interest on this site as in high value LD sales. These folks will have higher tolerances to those with insulting language. There are also some who simply don’t care. If you feel some of the replies somewhat sided with you, make sure you understand the bias.

Topic locked.

laser_beam forum account banned with reason "Learn basic courtesy".

I don't like his attitude.
We had enough trolls here before.

2nd account red_laser forum account deleted. (edit: he loves splashing how funny/victim he is, but he never contacted me directly before to solve anything. Looks like he just needs the attention. That's what a Troll does.)
