a new girl is joining the 1/6 Anime Family; "Lucy Maria Misora" from the 2005 series "To Heart 2" she should be here by JAN. 02, a rather unexpected late Christmas gift to myself, since she happened to be there at the right time, at a price i just couldn't say no to, no less...

Seems quite good as a figure, another nice acquisition but wasn't To Heart 2 way more sexualized than the first one (at least it shows with the figure being sold with underwear), kinda defeats the purpose for me of the first one having no "fan service" and being a little refreshing in that aspect. |

by their very nature, Anime dolls in general include a full set of clothing, including undies. it would be quite awkward, -let alone incomplete- for them to be otherwise. indeed, it's that very flexibility in potential customization, in outerwear and underwear, - let alone the doll's body itself - that made me an Anime character doll enthusiast to begin with. ultimately, if one's personal crafting skills are up to the task, character dolls such as these can essentially make for the ultimate, fully-customizable Action Figure. an example; - ORIGINAL -  - CUSTOMIZED -

one step closer to my personal goal. someday, i hope to get a similarly cheap line on the remaining two To Heart chara dolls out there that i desire. not bloody likely, however, as they both seem perpetually uncommon and appropriately pricey; - Manaka Komaki -  -Konomi Yuzuhara -

How much was this one? I know doll prices can really get up there. I set up some watches on figure sites for those two dolls. I'll let you know if I see them come up for sale. |

Thanks!! i got REAL LUCKY there on the the Lucy; $35 shipped. i'm currently eyeing a Konomi that's $113 shipped. i think i might just be able to jump on this one. the Manaka, however, is indeed quite uncommon, it would seem. i have yet to find even one of her available from any of my usual western-hemisphere sources... |

Probably, though you might not manage to get it quite convincing looking. it's a standard OBITSU-brand aftermarket poseable-doll body that she is based upon there, -pretty much the same as the ones nearly all my girls have- so i'll have to give the pose a shot with one of them, and see how it ends up faring... |

I do now see the pic on the back of the box, so it gets close which is pretty cool in a way for that pose. Unless the figure for box was different or early model that they changed. I know they did this back in the day for the inspector gadget figure, box had shoulders that could move all ways but the toy didn't as it was changed during production. |

 https://to-heart.fandom.com/wiki/Konomi_Yuzuhara she finally arrived, after about a full month of waiting. a little disappointing, as i was expecting her to be based upon an OBITSU 24, much as her companion Lucy Maria Misora was, but alas, she's based around the very same archaic OBITSU 21 design as the one that i had gotten a couple of years back for my VOLKS UFS To Heart 1 HMX-12 Multi. naturally, her head, being rather perfectly scaled for the 21, looks rather awkward when mated to an OBITSU 24, old or new design. perhaps someday OBITSU will roll out a new 21cm. design, and that will be poor Konomi-chan's salvation. for now, however;      fully dressed photos to come, soon as i finish working on her sailor suit... so, i ended up getting experimental with the old design OBITSU 25 left over from Lucy, and, though not quite perfect, it does seem to work for Konomi surprisingly well;  * Konomi Yuzuhara - 2008 OBITSU 25 * Lucy Maria Misora - 2018 OBITSU 24
