It's the same for other countries too. It's been restricted due to the pandemic.

Can't say I'm surprised. I'm still waiting for stuff I bought last month. The tracking hasn't had any update since the 16th.

Sorry to say I think this is an Amazon deal.
I've been getting packages from China that I bought on ebay, sticking them in decontamination for a few days and wiping them down etc before I open them.

Even able to buy and sell to individuals from all over as an individual.

I thought they were only selling or shipping essentials, at least it cleaned up ebay with all this mass production junk from drop shippers.

I got a box from Japan today, first class. It took about a week longer than usual and tracking info didn’t update for over a week at one point. It was sent just before most went on serious lockdown though.

Good to know movement is still occurring via normal channels.

Sent a title to Belgium in early March First Class International.

Tried to place an order at Amazon to check if they have began delivery again. Of the two items I tried to pre-order, I got one message saying one of the items can not be delivered to my norwegian location. Both items were sold by the Amazon.com Services LLC. Only one shipping option, the global delivery method of 3 - 4 working days. I guess it isn't possible to pick a slower shipping method as the shipping speed has decreased during the pandemic and the return window will be exceeded for the customers of the far side of the world.
The item I could order now was not allowed for delivery nearly a month ago.

Things I sent "Airmail" before the suspension of delivery got sent back to me.

2 EMS to USA haven't moved from Tokyo since mid-April.

Tried Surface last week, it did reach the "Tokyo Dispatch" step that the other 2 couldn't...
We'll know in 2~4 months if it worked.

Maybe the stuff I ordered two months ago that's been sitting in a USPS warehouse somewhere is finally gonna start moving again!

I went ahead and placed an order with amiami. Hopefully the situation resolves by the time the figure holding up the shipment releases, but if not I can live with DHL.

Just got a "shipped!" notification.

The only option I had was "Global Amazon Express" but they shipped it with DHL.

Ordered May 12th
Shipped from USA May 13th
ETA in Tokyo May 26th

Let's be patient now.
