this is temporary until I get my other LaserDiscs. It was a pain to put together since the instructions weren't clear where the dowels went.
but anyway I am not sure this will even be good for LDs (I only have 150 or so but pairing down stuff.

is it up to par like Expidit (the original) ?

if it were screws for the middle shelf I'd be less worried but maybe its this version of the configuration?

I'm using one of these for my LDs and it's basically full, so far it's been fine. If I suddenly hear a big clatter, I'll be sure to let you know...

I have a few of these, the larger ones. I personally wouldn’t load it more than %50 with LDs. I fill the alternate cubes with other garbage I collect, more lightweight stuff.

I got a quote a long time ago on real wood shelves for LD. It just isn't affordable and I can only assume the prices on real wood have gone up. So I currently use 6 1x4 Kallax units, anchored to the wall. The 1x4 units should be able to handle much more weight than the 4x4, 5x5 units.
