I have been going to a website for a while now to check prices against other prices. All of a sudden I cannot get into the website on Explorer. I can go other places, just not this website. I can however go to the website in Mozilla.
Thanks
Chris

hate to say it but you might have a virus?
OR, you may have to delete your cookies or internet history to get enough space to go back to a site.

sometimes happens.

That is the only website I cant go to. I can get everywhere else. I am ok virus wise. Eset is pretty cool. It is weird because when I go there it spits out numbers and nothing else. And only on the front page. I can get into from the back.

it might be that they are working on updating it and it's bouncing explorer off?

is your Internet Explorer up to date? i had a few websites i couldn't get to, or access certain parts of, when i had an old version of IE. some sites are trying to pull support for IE6 i know, and maybe even IE7? IE9 is out now and its honestly not bad. I use Chrome most of the time because it's lightweight and doesn't use a lot of RAM comparatively.

also, you might have an app causing issues with that particular site (something like AdBlock that you can add to your browser). some of those apps can be set up to use specific rules for certain sites, and maybe that's causing an issue?

worth a try

huh. that is weird. maybe send the webmaster a message when you're on in Firefox and tell them the problem you're having. maybe they'll have a resolution.

From a technical point of view it is very easy for a site to detect what browser is being used and behave differently, it's actually a very handy feature. For about two years I was a web developer and I couldn't get out of that business soon enough, mainly because of the number of times I had to rewrite code to work in different browsers.

The rule of thumb was:

If Internet explorer
-If Version 7 or 8:
--Do it wrong
-If Version 6:
--Feel dirty from the code you have to write
Else
-Do it right.

Did you try to delete temporary files and cookies?

He did block me, doesnt want me on his website, blocked me from ebay and I can never buy from him again. Ironic since the times I was able to buy from him I always gave him a great review and always said good things about him.

What about a print screen of what your looking at. I had a crappy virus many years ago. If I typed in THX website it would go miles away from the original site and start giving BS options that are misleading sites.

Na, guy admitted to blocking me. Dont know how but he said he did.

have asked you to not purchase from me on eBay several times. Also, I have blocked all known e-mails and eBay UserIDs. Therefore, this is an unwelcome purchase under eBay policy. If you plan to continue to create new user ids on eBay to purchase, please be advised that I had no choice but to have this reported to eBay today. If you take further action I will ask eBay to research any of the following violations:

Dont know what I did to tick him off but I dont see how I was an unwelcome purchase as I had only give him positives before he went nuts and was always saying how great his service was. Who knows. I can get onto it from Mozilla though and other computers, just not this computer.
