Got myself a Big Mac.

OS9 and early OSX purposes. Have a processor upgrade card and a beastly GPU for it.

I don't remind that one being able to run OS9 on it. I have a Quicksilver and it doesn't but I haven't checked lately. I use my G3 b&w for OS9
anyway good purchase

Oh this bad boy sure can. It’s the FireWire 800 model that can’t run OS9.
And Quicksilver should be able to run OS9 all day long, I did clean installs of OS9 when I had a quicksilver.

I suppose I should check my Quicksilver then since the b&W can be a bit wonky at times.

More tat arrived earlier in the week. Some more titles from the brilliant Grindhouse Releasing (imported from the USA). Also Godzilla vs Kong 3D, also imported from the USA as the 3D version is unavailable in the UK and Ireland. There's a 4K HDR version available but who cares when you have a 3D version! :D

Been a while since I posted around here so I've acquired a lot of crap. I'm not going to bother

Genji Days of the Blade (PS3) promo disc only (I had a spare retail cover & manual already)
TC's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (Xbox) promo, mint
5x official Australian Xbox magazine demo discs in relevant cases (10, 22, 23, 34, 36)

right place to post this:
got Jet Force Gemini on N64 and LittleBigPlanet but the disc and case don't match which kinda of annoys me.

Its the game of the year edition and should be this version https://vgcollect.com/item/125989

Too lazy with pictures.
Picked up a DVD at a reasonable price of The Final Programme, the Michael Moorecock novel brought to life on the screen.
Much better than the cut USA version on LD.

Though there was something else I picked up but it may have been that Berlin Blues LD that I bought about 6-10 months ago that I forgot to watch.

A nice companion to my retro powermac.

A 20 inch Apple Cinema Display was able to pick it up locally for a great price.

The most expensive bloody bin bag I've ever owned.

Columbia's finest nanotech wotchacallit is apparently guaranteed to keep you bone dry even in a Category 6 hurricane.

It looks and feels like a bin bag.

Anyway, it's mandatory to have taped seams on a rain running jacket for the upcoming ultramarathon I'm competing in. Handily it's absolutely chucking it down today and I've to run 6 miles later on. We'll see how it manages the rain.

Race day will probably be blue skies and 35°C now...

Done and tested. Got caught in an absolute downpour today. Thunder, lightning, the works. Waist and below i was soaked through. Squelchy shoes, the lot.

Anywhere the jacket covered, so head to waist, i was bone dry. Contents in my pockets were completely dry too.

The bin bag works*. 101% approved.

* f***ing needs to as well for how much it bloody cost.

That’s good to hear mate! Dosen’t look like it from the pic but presumably considering the intended purpose it’s reasonable lightweight then?

Yep extremely lightweight and packable. 'Waffer' thin, it's like a bin bag with taped seams. The taped seams part is often mandatory kit in ultramarathon's, mountain running etc.

Only downside to it is you get sweat collection in the arms. You can adjust the wrist straps though so it lets air in. The nanotech wotsit works very well though. Water literally beads off of it. After being caught in that cloud burst earlier today and was bone dry under the jacket.

I think it's more suited for hiking, powerhikes and shorter trails though so I might look to get another jacket as a backup.

Interesting fact you mention about the sweat collection Ted!

Seriously though, all the best for the upcoming ultramarathon mate
