So according to this article published on April 13th 2021, the often speculated pirahna scene in Cannibal Holocaust has had some new light shed on it with regards it actually being filmed. Only one photo of it is known to exist. The photo shows the setup of the scene and until now that is all that is known about it.
This article features an interview with one of the actors in the film who is also in touch with some of the other native actors who were in the film. It makes for an interesting, if albeit still speculative imho read.
