I worked in the US in the 90s and brought back a Pioneer CDL-99 and DV-09 when I returned to the UK. They've both been sat in storage for years but I'm now making the effort to use and enjoy them again No problem with the CLD-99 as all my laserdiscs are NTSC but I have a very limited region 1 DVD collection so use of DV-09 is limited. There was a company in Holland that was able to mod the DV-09 for multi-region playback but they've long since stopped providing the service (I believe they modded the EPROM) - does anyone know what is involved in modding this player for multiregion playback or a company that still offers the service? Any guidance apprecaited Thanks |

I would personally sell it and buy a region free Oppo DVD or DVD Bluray player. |
