So I finally got what I want with the Kallax for the music area. not sure if I will get my Pioneer stands from my storage unit or not (those 2 and a table are the only furniture I have in there so I still haven't figured out anything beyond having me drive there for one last load of small stuff)  EDIT did some thinking and rearranging might keep it like this

I have a secondary music system in my living room consisting of: - JBL Northridge N28s (refinished to somewhat resemble an L82/L100) - Arylic S50 Pro+ Streamer/Pre-pro - Adcom GFA-535 2ch Amplifier - Crosley C6 Turntable w/ AT3600L cartridge (mfg by Pro-ject)  Most of my listening is still done in my theater with: - Monolith THX-LCR Ultra In-Walls - Marantz SR6011 (as pre-pro) - Adcom GFA-7500 THX-Ultra Amplifier - DIY Dayton Ultimax 15 Subwoofer - Fluance RP80 Turntable with LP Gear CFN3600LE Stylus Upgrade - Pro-ject Phono Box E Pre-amp |

added apple TV 1st Gen for internet radio. I was going to use the equipment rack not to have my third TV out but for the VCRs and well beta kinda works but the other 2 won't so I'll have to figure out something for them.

My current setup. It's actually two seperate systems in the same room. One for stereo music and the other for movies. Speakers: Magnepan MG 20.1 Cherrywood and Black. Custom stands are very thick steel with cement and epoxy filling and coated with rubber. Crossover capacitors (35) replaced with Z capacitor (eliminating all 35 connections with point to point Jenna labs wire with cardas silver solder in the entire circuit). Fuses directly bypassed. Speaker stands on custom speaker feet marble stands. moved it and got rid of apple tv which I may bring back. still have to figure the 5.1 setup for HT and my SACD/DVD audio discs.

TV/Movies in the living room is Sonance Cinema .5 THX-LCR and SUR in-walls, DIY Ascendant Avalanche sub (built to resemble a shaker-style cabinet/bench), Onkyo NR525 AVR, Pioneer Kuro 5050HD, and Chromecast w/ GTV. That Onkoy SR875 is a beast. I had an SR805 (nearly identical without Reon VP) and later an NR905 (nearly identical with added network audio, Audyssey Pro, and fancy binding posts). The NR905 is still kicking in my brother's theater. |
