My Pioneer remote (CU-CLD066) has suddenly stopped working. It was fine the last time I used it a week ago. I've tried changing the batteries but to no avail. At first, after changing them, the buttons lit up constantly (as opposed to only illuminating for a matter of seconds) as though the unit was malfunctioning. They would not operate however. But now they won't even light up or work at all.

Any ideas??

With the battery out exercise all the buttons a lot of times then re-install the batteries and try again. If it still does not work you'll have to open the remote and clean the sensor side.

Thanks but what do you mean by sensor side? Do you mean the sensor bulb, or the whole board?
