Hello!

So, unexpectedly obscure question: there's plenty of people talking about needing new rubber for the disc clamp/spindle/whatever you call it on a DiscoVision PR-7820. What I couldn't find anywhere is if it's possible to get a replacement clamp all together - mine was not included with the player I got (for free, so, no skin off my back).

I figure nobody's making replacements (and, fair enough), but I would figure someone would at least have a vague idea where one could possibly pop up. Or a 3D printed solution or something. Whatever works.

Thanks!

Oh, you are SOL.

I had a player years ago and once you remove that center screw the piece gets removed and there is a flat metal plate under, there is a thin rubber ring
that goes up and when you press those two buttons it snaps down I think and spreads out the rubber.

Should look like I___I with the rubber going up.

But if that entire piece is missing you may have to do some type of 3D printer or try blam1, I know he has some players and may have a part or two extra??
