Hi!

As the topic describes, i need a new 220/240 to 100V (100W) step down convert for my hld-x9. The one i bought from ebay isn't high duty at all and turns off after an hour of running a movie. I have problems finding a website selling these units, and the only one i found was http://www.airlinktransformers.com/japa ... A0100.html but for some reason that company wants 66£ for shipping, and it has the damn UK power plug (not a problem to change it, just would be nice with a regular european one). So, anyone have a good tip for me? =)

i had one and sold it on the bay about 8 years ago.
when i bought it, it was at a small local electronics store on canal st in NYC, it cost me about 45 bucks and was super heavy.

i can't really remember what it looked like, it was black and sort of looked like the one you posted.
i think it also had an external fuse to change if needed.

Hello,

Actually I have one for sale but in France. And this baby is VERY heavy, full of copper.

I had it custom-made for my 100V-only Japanese equipment (that included a HLD-X9).

A-end is European male plug.
Z-end is a Japanese female plug.

ah! Could you estimate the shipping rate to Norway? There is a Norwegian company that said they could build me one for aprox 333$, and it seems more and more plausible that it's an o.k. deal to make, considering import taxes and shipping =)
