Today I picked up a Mitsubishi HSU-500 at goodwill for cheap. Took it home and it won't take the tape. It will very limply start to take the tape then make a straining noise then spit it out. Any tips or should I just return it?

The gears for the loading mechanism probably need to be relubed if I had to take a wild guess. Not worth the trouble for a low end VCR like this imo.
