some parts to consider:

vnl1700 motor holder
veb1184 rubber belt
vnl1625 cam gear (pin may brake of one day)
vnl1631 cam plate (another possible breakdown)

the mentioned parts are applied in the dvl-909-919 and cld-d515 -cld-d925 and known clones like the denon la-2300-2700 or yamaha units.

cheap parts that may come in handy one day!
some partnumbers changed trough the years. Pioneer won't have a problem cross referencing these!

so these are the weak parts that may eventually break in the future?
did you have # number for prc-hub ontop of the spindle, is this the clamp that holds and centers the disc in place?

thanks

PRC-hub is known to fail. Only thise three little clamps hold down the spring beneath it sitting on the spindle motor
Part number : VNL-1684
available trough Pioneer dealers!

be patient removing a good one... altough I can't see you do that without a good reason. never had a faulty spring anyway.
be very patient pushing the new prc-hub into place... again...easy to break.
A simple slight push does the trick.
Think inserting a drawer wise... a little simultanious click and it's all good

I've been trying to source the parts listed above today for my DVL-909 and spoke to Pioneer UK.

If anyone in the UK wants them Pioneer told me that they do not stock them but they're available for 'For Your Home' tel 08445572510

Phoned and ordered with Pioneer just yesterday....

Belts, M holders, hubs etc... by the thousands in the Japan.
They don't stock parts in Belgium (not everything at least) but in one week I get what I need coming from Japan.

I'm always :o reading you guys have a hard time getting parts...
Might they want a minimumorder?
I order about 5-15 belts at a time. Same goes for M holders etc...

Did you ever go straight to a Pioneer dealership? an authorized retailer!
They should have no problem ordering parts anyway!

Maybe it's a problem with Pioneer USA. I got my rubber clamp quickly but I have never seen the M-holder show up.

Simply go to a Pioneer AUTHORIZED DEALER :!:

Internet orders for parts...? Don't like those myself. These parts aren't rare you know...

Step 1
Walk away from your computer or tablet (look for hole in the wall) aka "a door" This goes to the OUTHER WORLD we're virtual reality ends

Step 2
Get into car start using ingnition key , select gear push right pedal and DRIVE to AUTHORIZED PIONEER DEALER

Step 3
Walk into AUTHORIZED PIONEER DEALER SHOP (this is a person selling pioneer equipment)

Step 4
Tell PIONEER AUTHORIZED DEALER what partnumbers you need!

Step 5
Return home and wait for PIONEER AUTHORIZED DEALER to phone you when parts arrive.

Step 6
Repeat steps 1 2 3 and 4 and return home

You have now succesfully shopped in the real world

    good luck.

this summer I bought pioneer parts from my electro repairshop, although he couldn't get me the M-holda.

parts i bought was:
VNL-1631 CAM
VNL-1625 GEAR
VEB-1184 2x BELTS

I tried to get M-holder from Dönbergas.
Their webshop is kinda funky when paying with Paypal, there is no instant direct payment.
They had to send me a paypal invoice with a payment-link to my email, I have to click on this email to axxess to their paypal??
I didn't go through this yet as I'm not secure about their payment solutions?!
Is this the correct way to go when paying to Dönbergs paypal account?

@Kris
what's the partsnumber on PrC-HuB ontop spindle motor?
same goes with clamp holding disc? ( would this fit several Pioneer players also R7G?)

FYI I've begun manufacturing these. They aren't on eBay yet but should be in a week or 2. If you search VNL-1684 it should come up.
