What are good replacements for loading belts, and where do you buy them? Direct from Pioneer?

You can buy from Pioneer but you can also go to places like MCM Electronics and buy belts. Or find anyone that sells PRB Line belts.

Kurtis, I remember you giving me the Part Number for a D704 loading belt. When I tried to look it up on Pioneer's Parts website I couldn't find it. I also looked through the D704 listing and it didn't have a belt listed under the parts. Could you point me to the belt I need?

Not at home to look up the Pioneer number but just do an internet parts search for a SCQ4.0 or go to
http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/D ... -0-/SCQ4.0
and you can order the belt. Pioneer repackages thi sbelt and it will cost you more to buy from them.

Awesome thank you. I googled that before, but I wasn't for sure that was the right belt. Is this the belt that most LD players use? Do all of them have a belt?

That's the belt for many Pioneer models. I've yet to see an LD player without some sort of belt.

Not every player uses the same size!

Thanks for clarifying that, that's why I said many models, and did not say all. Seemed clear to me, but should I have qualified it further?

It was late and I didn't read your note correctly. My bad.

Within the UK though Seme you can get spare parts for Pioneer laserdisc players http://www.seme.co.uk/

I’ve managed to get some spindle motors for Pioneer CLD 1750/2950 and other parts
