Hi all. After months of sitting around my old Pioneer CLD-D702 now has some playback issues. Disc begins to spin but stops after several seconds and the disc tray just opens automatically. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii and the options for service/repair has dwindled to nil. Does anyone have any recommendations for a trusted repair center on the Left Coast? Thanks for any suggestions.

Agree, but shipping may not be worth the risk?

search up about the rubber grip pad, that may be your issue, But it will only be a temporary fix.

The older models have a better clamping system and have less issues with slipping. I would try cleaning the laser lens and see what happens.
