No you can't replicate. It's plastic, very small and full of all kind of angles, flat parts and raises. I doubdt if a CNC machine controller can replicate it exactly (and at a very high cost)

I was thinking more in terms of molding and casting rather than CNC.

BTW at least some late production long-run CLD players still used the VNL1700 - I got a V2800 listed with a ton of front panel and some frame damage dated Sep. 2001 which had a VNL1700...

... and still, somehow, at least somewhat works.

As a side note - the CLD-D504, S104, and presumably early runs of the CLD-59 have an even earlier m-holder, which explains why there are seem to be so many more problems with those...

The gray M-Holder had a different part number. The VNL-1779 is the improved black one.

Pioneer Singapore confirmed that the black VNL1779 version is completely sold out, only the gray VNL1700 is left in stock.

+ They flag the VNL1700 as "FINAL STOCK / PART SUPPLY END PERIOD"

If we can believe the Pioneer parts catalog, the evolution of the M-Holder was:

VNL1637 => VNL1700 => VNL1779

All compatible with each other?

The 1700 with the newer 1779 yes, the same, only different color and I guess strength. I have replaced 1700 with a 1779.
For the older I don't know.

In the stock of an unknown company I found a remaining quantity of the original packed VNL1779.
If you are interested, please send me a PM or check eBay.de

If all parts are sold, I will let you know here.

Additional information: My 3D-made motor-holders are sold out.
