Does anyone have any ideas on how transit screw VLL1358 (used in the CLD-3090 to CLD-D702) could be recreated?

A machinist could make one pretty easy if he had the exact measurements. This was the kind of stuff I was doing in the 8th grade but I don’t have machine tools. Do you have an original? From the red anodizing I’d assume it’s aluminum?

I know nothing about this type of work unfortunately. The above photo is of the only one I have.

I'll see if I can get some quotes from local machinists.

If you know the threads I would just get a long 1 1/2 inch bolt and file the threads off smooth by hand, unless you want to make them for sale just try to
contact a machine shop.

I know I have none around other than truck machine shops and the wouldn't touch this.

It does nothing to hold the laser assembly, just makes sure the turn mechanism stays in side A position. I've shipping many without it with no issues.

Yes for sure, it is not as critical as it sounds. I have never had a problem until a CLD-3090 clone I just picked up. The gear on the back of the pickup assembly that turns it to the other side will not fully engage with the gear track in the turn assembly in the back of the unit without me helping it. It might not even be due to the screw though, it just reminded me to post this since I have been thinking about it for a while.

The players that do use VLL1358 have been nothing but problematic (due to unrelated reasons) for me when compared to the models that came before and after it, so the screw is honestly the least of my worries.

On a side note, here is VLL1180 for the CLD-2070/3070/91/92.
