Hi !!!

I live in Sweden

I am 50 years old and I live in Malmö that is Swedens third biggest city that is connected with a bridge that is called Öresundsbron to Denmarks capital Copenhagen.

I have a Canadian Pioneer CLD-1080 LaserDisc that I bought back in 1996 from a friend that bought a DVD-Player

I will also take photos of my LaserDiscmovies that I have collected since the 1990s

Thank you very much

Really cool that you have had a Pioneer LaserDisc like mine, it is a long time since I used my LaserDisc and then it did not show any picture on my TV

Here is my cat Luna and he is 8 years old

Nice to see that LD has a following in sunny Sweden (love Malmö by the way, been there a few times over the years!)

Just wondering whether LD was ever officially 'launched' in Sweden - were the players widely sold in the 80s and 90s, or only by a few specialist hi-fi shops?

Searching for Swedish discs on the database here brings back only four titles. But of course I realise the average Swede wouldn't have any problem watching imported English-language discs...
