Reactivated my account, and looking to liquidate my collection of approx 40 LDs. some MINT unopened Disney stuff too! I will sell my LD player as well since everything is just collecting dust per my wife! First question is do I have to one by one use the gui to populate my collection into my shop inventory? Please advise.

Welcome back. It’s a small enough collection. I think it is worthwhile to sell them individually. If you are looking for a quick sale, it might not be a bad idea to sell the player with the LDs as a bundle deal.

You will need to enter each one to your shop individually. Make sure you enter the correct versions and use the grading link for their conditions.

You can also skip all this and list all of them as a lot into one of these links. Lots typically sell for far less. More detail on your ad = more interest.

Good Luck!

The player is a Sony MDP-A1 . I kept it in storage thinking since it could play both sides of a laserdisc without having to flip it over was worth the effort. Hopefully someone else does as well, I have no idea if that was a rare option for LD players or a commodity back then. Or now if not many are left that have such a capability. Maybe some folks who know more about such things around here can comment?

Anyways FWIW I live in Arizona.

In the database, logged in, look at the My Account | Bulk Upload menu item. There is an option for the target of the bulk upload to be your shop. You can identify items with Reference or (better) LDDB number. You can get this info out of your collection by downloading it first.

I don't know what you do about grading and pricing individual items. Let us know.
(Edit) I do now, because I tried it.
After matching items with your data (which will be 100% if you use the LDDB numbers) there is a button do add each item. It opens a new tab to allow the grading, price and other comments and to finalise the process for that item.
Then you just close that tab and go back to the list of matches and do the next one.
This process isn't perfect (it doesn't mark which ones you've done) but it's pretty good and much quicker than navigating to each item one at a time.

Julien's a star.

Ah too far for me and no Sony players for me.
Best bet would be to use FB marketplace, I've never used them yet, going to soon with some chairs.
Also craigslist, good ole standby, could find the CA moving to AZ with their kids who need to have some vintage AV gear
and must have an LD collection at all costs.

Good luck, its a small collection so should go fast to a new LD fan.
