This is a great way to find new fellow collectors worldwide...
I've been collecting since 1993 and once had a collection of nearly a thousand discs.
Sold many laserdisc when dvd came looking around the corner but never found the same satisfaction in owning a title on dvd as with laserdisc
Yars went by and one day a copy of Die hard 3 dts turned up on ebay Belgium. Thinking this was the only way to hear it in all of it's glory I decided to once again buy 1 laserdisc title.
Then the virus was back!!
Bought nearly every dts title that was available once trough every auction site I could think of.
Found some discs new and sealed nearby and that was that. No more laserdiscs for me was my thinking...
Since I had a few Japanese titles in my collection of my first partly sold of collection I began thinking once more...
What if I would find a copy of the sixth sense and Fight club? or even better ... how about hunting down U-571 and MI2?
6 years later after getting back in collecting dts Ld's the one auction on ebay came along...
Japanese discs like U-571, The world is not enough etc. nearby in Holland.
Mailing an begging the seller to sell me his most precious titles he finally agreed that I would come before auctions ended on ebay.
Once on location I couldn't believe my eyes. about 2000 discs of any sort and type
He agreed to sell me some of the hard to find titles for a fraction of their price they usually go on ebay.
He saw that I wanted these badly but never squeezed the last dollar out of them.

Talking about getting lucky, this was the grand prize for me
