*batteries not included
InnerSpace - 2 Disk
Full Metal Jacket

Police Academy 2
Poltergeist II The other Side
Silver Bullet
Alien 3
Fright Night
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Teen Wolf
The Secret Of My Success-
Big
Dragnet
Sleepless in Seattle - Widescreen Edition

for $100 US. Is this a good deal? I was thinking of offering $75. I have never watched a movie on laserdisc, but have always been interested. Please provide you thoughts/suggestions. Thank you!

yes it is a decent deal as long as player works good. Westworld, Weird Science, The Goonies, Buck Rogers, Legend, Possibly Pale Rider, Explorers, Stand By Me, InnerSpace, Fright Night, A nightmare, Teen Wolf, are solid titles with Fright Night being the best I believe. That is a 20 dollar title alone depending on condition.

if you are interested and have the extra cash and the player is working fine then go for it.
that's less than i spent on another vintage video technology and i sold everything and make a few bucks.

so that's your worst issue, you don't like it then sell it and either break even or make a few bucks.
but then you were able to test a really cool vintage video system.

Thanks all. I offered to buy it, but asked if he and I could confirm its working operation before I hand over the money. So far, no response. Regardless, there's a laserdisc in my future. Will let you know if there's a happy ending.

In many ways your first buy is probably the most fun one because every title no matter what it is will seem great because you don't have any laserdiscs yet.
It is when you have done this a few dozen times that the novelty of bulk buys starts to wear off as you start to accumulate 20+ copies of the following titles:
Terminator 2, Aliens, Jurassic Park and Independence Day.

 For the record, the player did come with Terminator 2, Aliens, and Jurassic Park. A lot of Michael J. Fox and Tom Cruise movies as well.
