Hello everyone, I'm Steve!

I'm a geeky guy who has just recently found LaserDiscs. I have a little Tech Blog here (if you're interested in reading) Sometimes I post things related to LaserDiscs. I think it was about two years ago. I was in the Princeton Record Exchange store in NJ with my girlfriend. She pointed out an Indiana Jones record to me, but upon closer inspection, it was a LaserDisc! That night I bought the entire trilogy on LaserDisc even though I didn't own a player! Soon after I got my first Pioneer LaserDisc player... now I have over 80 titles in my collection! I even have some doubles of big box sets like Star Wars, The Beatles Anthology & Fantasia.

I started collecting them just for the covers... but I later learned of the fantastic LaserDisc Database site! I would go onto collect other titles and alternate versions and even some Squeeze LDs. It's a fun format to collect and although I think I have almost everything I want, there may be something down the road I may try to collect.

thats how alot of people get into laserdisc, just because of the awesome jackets

Hello Steve!

The art on the LD sleeves is fantastic and they are collectible pieces in their own right. Not to mention all the info that comes into the sleeve notes for the avid movie fan.

I have only been a collector since May last year, but I would not go back, nor do I regret anyone of my purchases!
