I'm from N.Raleigh, NC, so if you are from near here, I'd love to get together and just trade doubles with you. If you know any place near here that sells LDs I'd love to know. I can't find any. Not even the Pawn shops have them.

Here in St. Louis, Missouri, we have the Record Exchange. Bad place to be if you have a fear of being crushed by disc-based media. Everything organized by media (VHS, 33s, 45s, LDs, CEDs, N64 games, etc), records organized by genre, and that's where the organization ends. They don't get many new discs, so I typically make 1 trip a year. Spend over an hour flipping through discs and have found at least two anime discs every time. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop.

Shenandoah Valley, VA here...98% of my LD collection (discs and players) is from old AV installation clients in NYC, and from ex-co-workers there. A couple of snags locally from CL, but I don't look very aggressively at all. Oh, and also a disc or two from E-Bay (Criterion Spinal Tap) or barter on AudioKarma (some Horowitz performance discs).
