Hello everybody!

I write here from France too, like wiigamecube.

My story with LDs is very recent. I had never heard of them before three or four years ago, when a topic was created on a video game forum.

Then, I was lucky finding someone who was giving his ld player with 30 discs. My family and I was immediately conquered with these great covers and huges discs!

Until then, I have been searching for more and more discs and I now have a great collection of approximatively 600 LDs. I must admit that most of them I brought from Belgium. Last year I was in Antwerpen and collected the 1800 titles collection of an old shop keeper, and this summer I went in Liège where I found another 500 titles collection. Sorry for the belgian fans!

I love to watch them with my husband and kids (who can improve their english by that way!). I keep some of them just because of their cover!

Here in France, we can still find laserdiscs in second hand shops. Sometimes they are mixed with LPs, but there are also shops where they are sold separately. Most of them are in Paris...

Hi Soline, do you still remember the name of the shop in Antwerp where the collection came from?

(See also the discussion in the tread "Greetings from The Netherlands", just trying to track down where the inventory of the shops in The Netherlands and Belgium went to)

Hi edwin,

I've read the "Greatings from Netherland" thread.

As I know, my discs are coming from a shop near Antwerpen in Beveren. This is where my Pioneer friend lives and this shop was obviously a pioneer partner.

The only adress I have is pioneer electronics Europe - Luithagen av n°9 - 2030 Antwerpen

Maybe, the guy I bought the collection has himself bought another collection. As I know, he went into dvd and br and left the laserdisc collection.
