Hello all. I'm new here and new to laser discs all together. I have all ways been interested in them just never took the plunge. I am now awaiting my player I purchased a pioneer cld D-703. Looking forward to seeing how it works. Well any suggestions on usage, care or anything else I may need to know would be appreciated. I'm going to be poking around the forums for help. I have looked a little and I do have one question. I couldn't find an answer to. The player I purchased was listed with a RAC-3 mod. Not sure what that is? Anyone know? Thanks anyway. Good day kach474, A pleasure to read from yourself, AC-3 Was the original description for early DOLBY DIGITAL sound. RF- Usually referrs to the external demodulator box that you will need to connect a DOLBY DIGITAL compatible or modified player to, and then connect this to your AV AMP. It's all good stuff......any questions just ask Friend Simcerest Regards

yes, benmbe answered it for you. but you will also need AC3 discs, for me there were very few films that i wanted so i sold my decoder but still have it on my players. ________________________________ the rein-o official signature:
