Hello everyone! My name is Sean and I've recently started adding Laser Discs & CED's to my collection of Horror/Sci-Fi/Exploitation stuff. I've found the LDDB extremely helpful in researching the various releases of laser discs out there. I've quickly acquired a small collection so far (http://www.lddb.com/collection.php?acti ... r=disfit86). I've been mostly focusing on my favorite horror movies and Criterion Collection releases mostly purchased from eBay. I have a ton of DVDs and instead of jump to Blu-Ray it seems I went the nostalgic route! I've fallen in love with this vintage format mainly for the great artwork but I was lucky enough to get a Pioneer CLD-D406 in excellent condition last week and have actually enjoyed a few discs too! Thank you to all the folks here for the great posts on the pros/cons on various laser discs players...very helpful for a newb! Cheers! Sean |
