Hello!

I live in Brazil and have never even touched a Laserdisc player.

However, I'm a huge fan of fullscreen versions of movies ( both open matte and pan & scan ), and I adore that film look we used to get before the over-scrubbed restorations of today and their colour / special effects tweaks. That automatically makes me a huge fan of laserdisc and CED, albeit one who has arrived too late for the party. I own many DVDs, but wish I had their laserdisc counterparts.

I love finding DVD conversions of those older releases, but there are very few of those around...When I request these things on trackers, I'm frowned upon / have my request deleted. I hope I do not have to fear that here.

Couldn't we start a tracker or something? Is there another way for me to get what I want?

Anyhow, I've been visiting this database very often for the past few months, so I thought I'd register and become a proper member.

Us Laserdisc collectors have a product that is rather unique, and so is not understood by many.
