It´s a pleasure for me to join such a special group. Although I´m not a format newbie per se (I´ve been a LD admirer since I was a kid in the late 80´s), only last year I could buy my first player: a pristine Pioneer CLD-S104. My collection started with a batch of discs that were given to me by my father´s coworker, who was upgrading (lucky me!) all his titles to DVD. Since them, I´ve bought other Pioneer players (two S104s and one S180, wich is my standard player today). My personal collection consists mostly of rock and pop titles from the 70´s and 80´s bands, and a lot of 90´s blockbusters flicks. Used LD prices kinda skyrocketed last two years here, and new players are quite hard to find ( the 2nd hand market here is literally flooded with bottom line S104´s). But I´m always looking for new music titles. |
