Hi--I'm new to Laserdiscs and LDDB. Although I am a longtime film enthusiast, I never delved into them as a chosen medium. However, I have inherited around 250 discs from a film professor who has decided to downsize, but could not bear to dispose of them himself. With his blessing, I am looking to sell what appears to be an incredible collection of titles that reaches across all sorts of genres. I want to adhere to best practices as a seller here, and just obtain a fair price. I also want to learn about the most effective ways to ship orders as well. I look forward to any advice and recommendations that veteran members have for me. Thanks! |

Good morning from the UK dawesgra, Just read your introduction, Your Film professor friend is interesting, and I must agree about throwing Laserdisc's away that's a no no! All thou once when I purchased around 200 titles+ and a Player from a local seller I did break up and bin around three titles, as they were titles that I detested but the rest were all ok. I have purchased Laserdisc's from sellers in the US Europe & Japan on many occasions. I have also Purchased many items of Hardware from the US, Europe and will do so from Japan at some point. I may be interested in purchasing some titles that you may want to sell especially if they are new sealed (I no the risk of purchasing new sealed titles because of possible laser rot issues.) but if the prices are reasonable then that's ok. Good to have you aboard this forum and hope you settle in. Look forward to corresponding at some stage. Kindest Regards |
