One of my buddies at CEDMagic invited me over here, and I really love the site! Very nice. i have been into CEDs since the beginning. I bought my stereo player SGT250 in 1982, I have loved them ever since! A year or so ago, I bought a SGT250 to replace the one I had all those years ago. I'm really back in now with 8 players, and about 500 movies. I have a room set up with 2 monitors and a 3 shelf cabinet for my players. I'm 55 years old and have a wonderful wife (who can't understand why I want to watch a movie that's not DVD or BluRay) I just smile and say "You wouldn't understand". I have 4 sons and 8 grandkids, and a tiny litte dog (2lbs) named Coco. If I were going to get into laser disc players, anyone got a recommedation on what to start with? I have 9 LDs I just got when I bought 230 CEDs.

Welcome!

You will surely find people able to answer all your laserdisc questions while providing some insights on CED as well.

Thank you! I'd like to thank Grasshopper for his generosity and help with getting my new (to me) Pioneer DVL 700 up and running. I got it in the mail last week, and it played, but wouldn't change from the "A" to the "B" side. We located the problem, and Grasshopper sent me the part, for free, (Thanks again so much). My neighbor who loves working on all things electronic, spent 15 minutes with it and now it plays great! This is a great site!
