I was a laserdisc collector going back to the early 90s and I'm now returning to the format. I really started to miss all the great aspects of Laserdisc from the players to the fantastic packaging and supplements.

After years of DVD menus, ads, awful packaging, changes to the film soundtrack etc I started to really miss laserdisc. As I got into BluRays its funny that it reminded me of collecting discs long ago. However BluRays also have those long load times, same dvd packaging, menus etc...

I actually saved most of my discs all these years and I just bought my first new ones off ebay in a long time. I'm glad this forum is here where we can discuss what is probably the best video format that has existed.

I have just read your introduction and can appreciate your fondness for this emotionally rich and favoured format LD

I can truly relate to your fondness as I myself deeply appreciate Laserdisc more than all of the disc formats that followed DVD, HD DVD & Blu-Ray.

Welcome to this forum and shall genuinely look forward to corresponding with yourself at some stage.
