Hey everyone! My name is David and always been interested in Laserdisc but all I own is a Laseractive with Sega PAC and a few Mega LD games and would love to own more someday. I have a good size US Sega collection across most systems, and I recognize a few people from Sega-16. I don't know if I'll ever collect laserdisc but always been thinking about it on and off over the years. The Laseractive is one of my favorite game collection pieces. Makes me feel like I am in the big leagues too. I have known about this site for a long time, but not the forums so much. Anyway, you'll all be happy to know I read a lot of discussions the last two nights. Really. I was bored however I enjoyed many of the discussions that I read and everyone seems really cool friendly so I might as well say hi! |

Thanks for the warm welcome. Life is pretty good, get married in two weeks, just starting a new carreer hopefully at the end of this year! |

Welcome aboard! Sega is awesome, or was at least.  I was active on Sega-16 as well some years ago, but unfortunately I rarely visit the site by now.

Hi there! Since you have a Laseractive anyway, it might pay to just grab a few $1 LD's just to see if it's the kind of thing that might interest you. If for nothing else, it's cool to pull one out and show someone who's never seen a LD before, their eyes usually bug out when they see the size of the disc. |

Good evening Friend, An advanced Congratulations on both you & your wife to be very special day. I used to look after many weddings and for a number of other cultural weddings, being a master of ceremonies, setting up weddings dance floors, silver service and so forth. I must admit having many a great experiences, carried out price, billing, making punch from scratch, and helping to make the whole day special with the help of the many waitresses, waiters and the evenings entertainment at a local four star Hotel and restaurant. I genuinely hope that it all goes well. Just some healthy advice, and hope you do not mind me mentioning this. If like the hard work spent in that one day is exceeded and by extension, you both spend the same efforts in making your marriage work for life then you will find eternal joy. One or both can fall out of love with each other, but the main thing is that you both from the start of your courtship to now, and beyond truly like each other regardless of anything, then the bond that binds & entwines you both together will never be broken.
