My LaserDisc journey started about a year ago when a co-worker gave me a heavy box full of LaserDiscs and a Pioneer CLD-D504 player. I was blown away, I love the technology (especially the gamma flip in later players)! LaserDisc collecting has been fun so far, and I have a lot of local stores that stock used discs. Finding inexpensive LaserDiscs has allowed me to fill in the gaps in my movie collection, and I enjoy the format. Right now I am enjoying Who Framed Roger Rabbit on my fine 20 inch Samsung tube tv! I finally found an active LaserDisc community here, and I just last week bought a broken DVL-700 to try and rehab; wish me luck! |
