Post subject:  Hi hi!
My name is Wes. As of only 2 days ago, I started to become obsessed with the defunct format of Laserdisc, and I find it fascinating. I saw a lot of my favorite movies like Good Burger, Half Baked, Dumb and Dumber, and more were available, and I got excited. I'm interested in getting a Pioneer CLD-980 model. But nothing has happened as of yet. I'm glad to see that there are people like me who are into LD, except a lot older! (I'm 15 :lol: ) Hopefully LD will make a comeback like vinyl, we can only hope :thumbup:

Welcome to LDDb, and to the forum! It's great to see that there are some younger fans out there of this great old format! I noticed when you joined, because you are listed as being in Louisville. I'm about 65 miles to your East in Lexington! I'm glad to have a fellow Kentuckian here on the site! You'll find a lot of useful information here, as well as many helpful and wise members on the forum who can provide you with much knowledge to help you on your quest. Yes, you will almost certainly learn about more titles which were available on the format that you never knew existed. If you don't believe me, just feel free to have a look at my collection listing! I'm sure that you will be able to locate many of the titles you are looking for right here on this site. It's truly a fascinating hobby, and one that can easily become an addiction in a hurry! Great reading your introduction sir.
HALF BAKED...........have this on Laserdisc Great movie of which pushes all of the funny buttons, and the great UB 40 soundtrack at the end is superb.
