Hello, I was recently mauled by the laserdisc bug. I have always been aware of the existence of laserdiscs, but I knew virtually nothing about them. I never owned one, I never knew of anyone who owned one, I do not even remember seeing one on a store shelf, and until recently I believed they were the size of a CD, or DVD. I do have a rather large video collection consisting of the usual VHS, DVD, and Blu-Ray formats, but above all I am a gamer. It is through my love for gaming that I was introduced to laserdiscs via the Panasonic LaserActive. I almost instantly fell in love with every aspect of laserdiscs. I stumbled across LaserDisc Database while searching for information on what is available on laserdisc, and I hope to learn the do's, and don'ts of building a laserdisc collection while here. I enjoy a little bit of everything, but I enjoy horror, and science fiction movies from the 70's, 80's, & 90's above anything else. -Robert |
