Post subject:  New Kid In Town
Hi all, I've always had a fascination with failed video formats (Beta, CED, all that good stuff), and while to call LD a failed format is a misnomer, it certainly didn't "win" in the mass consumer market. I recently came into possession of a entry-level LD player, and I hope to start a collection of LDs!

Other technological interests: Vinyl, Blu-Ray, CDs

You will find that a good number of the members here also have multiple formats ib their setups ( myself included)

Hello, and welcome to LDDb. I am jealous of your LD player even though I do not know what model it is. I am still looking to acquire a LD player, but I can not find one locally. However, I am trying to pick up a few Laser Discs so that I have a small, but nice collection when I finally am able to bring one home.
