I just became interested in laserdisc recently. I used to see them back in the day but just was not into 29 tp 39 dollars for a movie at that time.
I bought some laserdisc movies at Half-Price books before my player arrived from an eBay sale. I got a jones for vintage media,I guess. I still watch VHS and HDDVD
. I also got a cassette tape deck off Ebay recently. I just needed something to bring back what I used to love.My laserdisc player was added to this setup: 50 inch Samsung HDTV with A Sony 200 disc DVD player,nothing but TV show discs in it. A Pioneer Elite Blu Ray player, A Sony 400 disc DVD player That houses most of my DVD movies,a Toshiba HD DVD player for that format,a 7 disc JVC DVD player,that I use to play two-sided tv show dvds since they need to be flipped. It would be a pain to try opening the larger players to flip a disc. Two vcrs are connected along with a dvd recorder. A Sony HT-CT550W Receiver/sound bar system and component video switcher into a HDMI converter/upscaler is how I watch these devices. not to leave out the chromecast and Amazon Fire Stick attached too. No cable.
