Post subject:  Glad to be back.
Hello. I am a avid collector of anything home theater and I have just now started collecting laserdiscs. I recently bought a Panasonic LX-900U and couple of disc and can not wait to get started. I have been collecting movies and equipment since I was about 13 and had some money of my own. My first home theater was a JVC AVR I bought at Best Buy with a set of JBL speakers. I borrowed my Dad's Sony Betamax player and blasted Star Wars. I was hooked. After that I went to a Sony 4-Head VCR and then a DVD-ROM in a computer in college. I have kept up with the hobby ever since. I missed out on the Laserdisc craze due to my age and lack of money. I really like the old style covers and I am trying to collect a lot of movies I remember watching in the 80's and early 90's. Looking forward to making some new friends and having fun.

I have just read your intro at 11:26 am Saturday 12th September,

I enjoyed what you shared with us here, and appreciate your contribution to the fine site.

BETA tapes, Sony Hardware was on my mind to purchase at the time but like you I was a good deal younger, and lacked the funds to purchase way back then.

Laserdisc on the Other hand I got into at the right time, and so very glad I did.......... Love it.

May you continue to share your unique views with us, and I for one shall look forward to reading from you.
