This is the forum I've been looking for! I've been a member of avsforum for almost 12 years, but very few are into laserdisc. I even broke down and bought a working CED player and some discs. Outdated formats are like an addiction. I even have an unopened 2-tape SVHS version of Godfather IIU that came with a JVC deck I bought in the '90s.

CED is pretty much a curiosity. Laserdisc is the medium I can sit and really enjoy a film.

There are movies on CED I want that you cant get on laser. The Hobbit, Return of the King, and the Lord of the Rings for the most part. Night of the Comet and others.
