Just registrated here as i got my (long time wished) first LD player few days ago :)
Three discs so far. Actually, initially i just wanted few discs for collection only, now i have a player and..... oh boy... :angel:

I hope your interest for Laserdisc is long lasting, and that you are able to enjoy the fruits that this will no doubt bring.

I do not know that much with reference the inner technicalities of the hardware, but one is able to take on and learn.

I hope so. I have wanted to own an LD player so long ago, when i saw a video with it and discs i was stunned xD But still, im very newbie. Hope my D570 will serve me good, i have to make some small refreshment on it, nothing serious.

Much to talk about here, but we shall stay with the topic at hand.
I have been a collector of subjective LD movies since 1998 March of that year.

Currently waiting to receive a batch of around 27 titles.

I know what you mean with reference the tweaking of picture quality, as I myself am slowly making progress....... it's taken a long time.

I enjoy the journeying thou, as of course it is a hobby....

Actually i was considering on basic refreshment mechanically. The belt slips sometimes on the last step of loadind LD discs and i hope that it is the only belt visible while tray open. Very minor issue. Second are breaks, stopping LD discs mostly doesnt work cousing that switching sides and opening tray suffer. A huge slipping noise can be heard and i hope i can fix that easily. No any other deeper issue. Very decent and robust player. Btw, im very surprised by the SQ on CD playback, simply wow xD
