R.I.P. Merle Haggard...

Hello. I just joined a few months ago. I finally got my collection added to the DB:

I have a Sony MDP-650 connected directly to a TV in one room and a Panasonic CLD-D702 connected to a Magnavox DVD recorder connected to a Yamaha RX-777 in the main entertainment system. No flat/wide screen TVs yet, I'm still using an old Panasonic for my main TV.

I got in to Laserdiscs a few years ago to collect Criterions and my three favorite directors: David Lynch, David Cronenberg & John Waters. I would love to find Mondo Trasho & Multiple Maniacs on LD but I'm guessing those only came out on VHS. Urgh! A Music War is at the top of my want list right now, but I haven't found a local copy yet, and I've seen more PALs than NTSCs on eSlay.

The DB is great! I added a few titles, and I'll try to add more cover scans in the next few weeks.

Hi & enjoy the LD format bradleybee  .

To the best of my knowledge Urgh! A Music War was released on laserdisc as a fairly early PDO PAL 1983 pressed issue only, never seen an NTSC release.

It was issued on a CED in the US (but not here in the UK on PAL CED)

Cheers

Well shucks, I guess that means I need to get a CED player now :D

Thanks for the info...
